About Bohemian Football
Bohemian Football is a blog following the ‘popular football’ movement that has taken off across Europe and the world.
The movement ‘began’ in 2005 when disgruntled Manchester United fans formed a protest club in response to the Malcolm Glazer takeover. Their new club, F.C. United of Manchester, sought to ‘provide affordable, supporter-owned, community-focused football for supporters who are tired of modern football's constant pursuit of further riches at the expense the fans’.
Since then dozens of clubs across Europe and even the United States have formed under the same banner.
In addition to the articles found here, I post (at least) weekly updates of popular football on Twitter.
